Antenatal Clinic

By appointment Thursday 2.00 p.m. - 3.00 p.m.

Baby/Child Health Clinicollie1

The health visitor, Lynne Jones, sees children at the surgery every Friday  9.00-12.00am.  Please make an appointment for this clinic.  Child health examinations are carried out by a doctor and child immunisations are done by the practice nurse.

Medical Examinations

If you require a medical, e.g. for insurance or employment, please contact the reception staff and an appointment will be made, usually in the afternoon.

Minor surgery/Joint injection

These procedures are usually done in the afternoon.  Please discuss with yourrosemary1 doctor first.

Cervical Smears

By appointment in routine surgery with the practice nurse.  Please tell the staff if you are attending for this service.

Contraceptive Advice

During routine surgery hours.  Advice on emergency contraception is also available.

Coil & Cap Fittings

These are usually carried out in the afternoons.  Please discuss with the doctors first.

Condoms

Are provided free in the toilets.

Adult/Child Immunisations

These are done by the practice nurse.  Please check which immunisations are required for overseas travel at least 6 weeks prior to departure.

Acupuncture

This is usually performed in the afternoon.  Please discuss with the doctor to arrange a suitable time.

Smoking cessation advice

Hilary, the practice nurse can see you to offer support and practical help to stop smoking.

Pre-conceptual advice

The midwives or doctors can give advice regarding this.
